The Balearic islands consist of mediterranean islands, with the four largest islands being the most inhabited. The Baleric Islands enjoy diverse scenery surrounded by beaches of golden sand and has been a popular holiday destination for many years. Mallorca has been a tourist destination since early in the last century. The island is approximately 120 Km long with most of the resorts and population along the southern coast and is serviced by Palma de Mallorca airport. To get to the airport, passengers should drive on the Carretera del Aeropuerto towards San José and then take the exit towards San Jorge, pass San Jorge, and follow directions to the airport. There is free parking for a maximum of 15 minutes at Zona Azul (Blue Zone) for picking-up and dropping-off passengers and/or luggage. |
