Arriving at this port from the sea provides one of the finest vistas over this picturesque seafront town. Hugging the hill from the port up, the old town has many whitewashed houses. The bright blue ceramic tiles on the church dome stand out from afar, offering one of the most representative images of the Costa Blanca. With a modern building housing the social headquarters, the restaurant and swimming pool, the club is famous for organising important nautical competitions among which is the highly popular .200 millas a dos. regatta. It has a light sailing craft school operating during holidays and at weekends throughout the rest of the year.
