Playa La Roda is in continuation to Cap Negret beach extending up to the fishing port. With gravel, and as the rest of beaches in the town, its waters are very clean.

It is one of the most bustling beaches in Altea and is delimited by a well cared waterfront where shops, ice-cream stalls, small restaurants follow one another. There are also two yacht and diving centres offering their services throughout the whole year.

It is a beach adapted to people with reduced mobility.

Playa La Roda possesses the Blue Flag.

Equipment and services: this beach has bus station, red cross, lifeguards, parking, walloways, sports area, playground, rest rooms, showers, cleaning service, waste bins, public phones, seafront promenade, chiringuitos and restaurants.
