San Cristobal Beach has light-coloured, fairly fine sand. The beach is located in the western part of Almunecar and is the site of numerous restaurants, beach bars and hotels like the Hotel Bahia Tropical, this means the atmosphere is always lively.
The far-end is also known as La China beach. This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union for cleanliness and the quality of its services.
Here in San Cristobal beach you can take a long walk along the very nice promenade and have a drink on one of the beach bars.
