The El Campello beach is practically a prolongation of the busy San Juan beach along its northern stretch. The yacht club is located in one of the natural shelters for boats just before they round the cape known as Cabo Huertas, easy to locate from the sea because of the circular watchtower that was once used to sight pirates offshore. The club's installations have been renovated in the last few years and a series of new docks have been constructed to increase its lineup of services.
