Located straight at the Mediterranean Sea close to the N340 between Gibraltar and Sotogrande in Cadiz, Alcaidesa Links is a true links course.
It is sited in an undulated area at the edge of the Alcaidesa Development. Alcaidesa Links provides stunning views towards the rocks of Gibraltar and even way into Africa on a clear day. The course wanders alongside the sea through dunes and wild vegetation.
Opened in 1992, Alcaidesa Links hosted the junior Ryder Cup between young European and American talents in 1997. Alcaidesa Links, designed by Peter Alliss (the well known former golf professional and popular BBC Golf commentator) and Clive Clark, is pleasantly different from most other golf courses and worth a visit.
18 holes, driving range, putting green, chipping green, proshop, carts, trolleys, club rental. Swimming pool, bar, restaurant.
