ABC Language Center Spanish Language School Costa Brava

abc is a large language school which was founded in 1991, specializing in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. The school also offers English language courses. Our experience and the confidence our students have placed in us have enabled us to become one of the most prestigious language schools in Barcelona.

abc is an Accredited Center by the Instituto Cervantes and is a member of FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations) and IALC (International Association of Language Centres) and our Spanish foreign language courses are recognised by the Universidad de Alcalá.

Intensive Courses are divided according to level of ability, ranging from beginners to superior. Students may choose to take 20 or 25 lessons per week, that is 4 or 5 lessons daily from Monday to Friday.

The key feature of these courses is continuity, allowing students to extend their courses over the number of weeks required, starting any Monday. Absolute beginners must start on one of the specific initiation days indicated in "Dates and Fees".

Our classes have an average of 8 students of all nationalities, and are limited to a maximum of 12 students, to encourage optimum interaction between students and teacher.

All our classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with audio-visual facilities (TV, video and cassette).

The school also has a large projection/conference hall and a self-access centre with internet, as well as a penthouse terrace with panoramic views of Barcelona.

abc is situated in the city centre, near Plaza Molina, well connected by major underground and bus routes.
